What a fab place we really enjoyed our two night stay it was better than expected the room was nice and clean and super breakfasts We never had chance to try the sandwiches which are available during the day but if they are anything like the breakfasts they would be excellent. Sean gave us some great advice some of it... More

Excellent stay at the Lindisfarne Hotel, nice big rooms, excellent breakfast. Sean was really helpful and friendly, with good suggestions of where to visit and what to see on the island. Recommend having a stottie for packed lunch, very tasty and kept us going walking around the island.

Excellent value for money! We stayed in a corner room on the first floor. I think chatty Sean said it was the 'green' room, next to the 'brown' room. Both rooms were immaculately clean, the beds were large and comfortable and if I could find a fault it was the water pressure in the shower, which is a problem all... More

Needed somewhere with off street parking to stay on holy island and this place was perfect. The owner even gave me a bucket of hot soapy water and cloth to wash my car. Owner is a larger than life outgoing guy, full of enthusiasm and only too happy to help. Room was on ground floor so curtains needed closing in... More

This is Sean's answer to most inquires. He and Jackie are wonderful hosts and are always ready to help. My wife was not feeling well and they brought tea and toast even though it was late. Food was excellent, room was small but extremely clean and everything worked, owners are friendly and informed so they can direct you during your... More

I first stayed here last November and decided I wanted to hold my 50th birthday party on Lindisfarne having completed “St Cuthbert’s Way” : Melrose to Lindisfarne which is a superb walk. Sean, the owner, was incredibly helpful before the event and on the day: he made the whole party feel at home. The majority of us walked on to... More

A large group descended on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne to celebrate a special birthday - and about half the party had walked the St Cuthbert Way to get there! Sean at the Lindisfarne Hotel made us feel very welcome - nothing was too much trouble - and his banter and sparkling wit livened up proceedings too! Clean, comfortable room... More
