My husband & I stayed here for two days over the Easter weekend and had a very enjoyable time.

Gareth made us very welcome and they do the best chips in Northumberland - although The Apple in Lucker runs them very close.

The bedrooms are cosy & sunny & beds very comfy although the walls were a bit thinnner than would be ideal - we could hear our neighbour snoring!!!

The shower was really great - serious water pressure - somthing that you don't often encounter in English pubs & B & Bs.

Breakfasts were excellent and it was great to be able to see the local birds having their breakfast at the bird feeders outside the dining room/guest lounge. The sofas were fantastically comfy & as one night was a bit chilly the fire was lit.
