The Queens Head is a decent hotel and fairly reasonably priced, however, many of the rooms are directly above a club open until 2am, I had a very bad night's sleep! If you are in town to go out and party then the hotel is great, you could roll out of the club and straight into your bed, but if you intend on sleeping before 2am make sure you have a room on the top floor!!! The manageress was good about our complaint as they at first insisted we had been told about the rooms being noisy when we booked. When we explained we hadn't, she did what she could to rectify, but I think this info should be on their website, as the rooms are very very noisy on the 1st floor. more
