I generally try to stay in family-run B&B's on leisure trips rather than hotels because they are more friendly, cheaper and have better breakfasts. We stayed in a twin room which was spacious, clean and comfortable.Despite being close to the A1 the farm was nice and quiet.Robson and Julie were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very nice. We would definately recommend this Farm House and stay there again. more

My wife and I only stayed the one night but found the farmhouse an excellent place to stay. It certainly lives up to it's 5 star ratings ! Stayed the night in the twin bedded room. Clean, tidy, warm and comfortable all the little 'extras' were included. Breakfast brilliant. Near to all amenities but still in a quiet location. Will certainly consider again more

In absolute agreement with other visitors - Cheviot View is a gem of a farmhouse B+B.
