This Hotel is amazing. I can't believe that such a beautiful hotel is here and I didn't know. The bedroom was fantastic with a seperate sitting room- and this is a standard room!. The food in the restaurant is amazing and the portions are huge. The gardens are gorgeous and the hotel just oozes character. I can't wait to come... more

This is a very nice hotel but could be so much better………… The grounds and outside of the hotel are beautiful, set perfectly in a very dramatic backdrop of scenery and close to some of the major tourist sites of the area. The food in the restaurant was very nice indeed, with good service. Our room (room 8) was a... more

WE stayed for 1 night in this friendly hotel. We had an upgrade to a huge four poster bedroom that seeped history--sloping floor, enormous fireplace, quirky windows. No problems bringing the dog and plenty of space to exercise her. Good food --lack of nibbles with the pre dinner drinks would have added a nice touch. However the food at dinner and breakfast... more

We stayed for 1 night at this hotel and it was poor. The room we stayed in was on the ground floor and we woke up at 6:00 by the hotel staff who started to clean the adjacent toilets. This was accompanied by a lot of noise and we were not able to go back to sleep. Food is supposed... more

We stayed for a week in June 2007 - fishing and walking holiday. The Otterburn Tower is a little tired and needs a good makeover. The food is oversold - much is made of local produce from an associated farm. The menu is unimaginitive and is not changed. You would have thought that in June there would be spring lamb... more

We've stayed at this hotel before and decided to stay again , because of its lovely location. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming on our arrival and showed us to our rooms. The room was quite nice, but we had a malfunctioning light. The receptionist said she'd mention it and apologized. It wasn't really a problem for us; We were... more

My wife and I stayed here on our way up to Scotland and liked the location and our first impression of the hotel was very good. Being a professional Fire and Safety Consultant and ex Fireman I always check the fire precautions and these let the hotel down very badly - the following problems were noted: 1. Numerous fire doors... more

A very nice hotel with friendly staff. The hotel has atmosphere and the rooms are spacious and clean. Food is good and breakfast is a hearty meal! The location is excellent and handy for the National Park. The only downside was the pan pipe musak but thankfully that disappeared after we mentioned it! more

This hotel is of the old school, so don't stay there if you like boutique style accommodation. The food was perfectly fine at dinner but a little let down by a pedestrian breakfast experience! However the staff, who were on the whole very young, were extremely obliging, friendly and efficient. We stayed in the four poster room which was large,... more
