I arrived quite late about 2300, and was given a freindly warm welcome. My room was large enough for a couple and i'd say you would easily get a travel cot in here too. Im ex-navy and used to a high standard of cleanliness, which is evident here. 10/10.a taxi from mansfield train station is about £15. Its close to... More

We were let down with our booked accommodation on xmas eve, so we were directed at the local pub to try Marions manor. We were lucky that they had one room left, which when we had a look at it, was so lovely, it was so warm, clean and comfortable, we breathed a sigh of relief. The owner could't do... More

I stayed at Marions Manor for 3 nights 27th Sept-30th Sept 2011. Marion and her Husband Eric were the most excellent hosts and happily picked me up at the nearby station and also gave me a lift to the station on the day of my departure. The room I stayed in was of excellent cleanliness, and was of very high... More

Was visiting Edwinstowe for a friends wedding reception on august bank holiday weekend. Looked around for a suitable place to stay near to the venue, and for an affordable price and Marions manor was spot on. Had email contact with marion herself before trip to arrange everything we needed to discusss. On arrival (after having to ask at the local... More

Found this place on the internet and decided it looked the business and indeed it was! What a great place to stay. We had a warm friendly greeting from the owners; the room was a good size with the usual facilities (particularly liked the cookie jar ……!); breakfast could be as full English as you wanted it to be and... My wife and I stayed here with our two year old daughter based on its excellent reviews and I am pleased to say it met all our expectations. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean with tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast in the morning was superb, whilst Marion was friendly and knowledgeable of the local area, including places to eat.... More

My friend and I stayed at Marion's Manor recently to attend a concert in Sherwood Forest. We received a very warm welcome from Marion who could not do enough to make our stay comfortable, (she even booked our taxi to and from the venue.) The house is absolutely spotless with every attention to detail. The garden is a delightful peaceful... More

We have stayed here on several occasions during the past few years and it is always a joy to go back. The rooms have recently been refurbished and are comfortable and absolutely spotless. There is off-street parking available for guests and I was also delighted to find free wifi is now on offer. Breakfast is delicious and can be adapted... More

We stayed for 2 nights at this B&B. The room was of a good size, well decorated and spotless, with all that you could ask for, even free wi-fi. The breakfasts, taken in a separate dining room, were superb and Marion was a most attentive hostess. Do make sure you know exactly where you are going to park, because, although... More
