Wanted somewhere cheap to stay over. Basic, but had everything we needed at a good price. Breakfast: Greggs at the services is good value (rather than the more expensive places inside the main building) or try Bean Around The World, in Bicester. (See our separate review.)

We just wanted a place to sleep, this was perfect. Arrived at midnight and were greeted by a friendly, helpful receptionist. We were allocated a room on the ground floor at the front and were a bit worried about traffic noise keeping us awake. We didn't hear a thing and slept soundly. Chose this Travelodge as I wanted to stay over somewhere off the M40 following a long haul flight to Heathrow arriving on a Sunday evening. Stayed one night,everything was fine,the man on reception was very friendly,it is one of the older travelodges,,but it was clean bed was comfortable with a very good shower and for £15.00 a night it was a steal.
