We stayed at the Hawkwell House Hotel for the weekend. The staff were really friendly and the service was excellent. Our room was lovely, the bathroom spotless, and the bed really comfortable. Visited recently for wedding, though didn't stay overnight. Good points - attentive staff, nice bar snacks on arrival, wedding ceremony room attractive with flowers. After a tiring journey to the hotel, the reception staff were very chirpy, friendly, and helpful, which we found very refreshing. Not knowing the area, it was excellent that the staff could give good directions and helpful recommendations for places to go during our stay.
