We had our wedding here on Saturday the 19th of May and I can honestly say that we couldn't have chosen anywhere better. From the minute we arrived on the Friday afternoon we were made to feel very special and that nothing would be too much trouble, we had only to ask. We had a lovely meal in the Old... More

We stayed here on the weekend for a romantic getaway. The Hotel is set in the most beautiful surrondings and has a river running through it. The pictures for this dont do it justice. We got there Saturday afternoon and they gave us a free upgrade to one of their rooms by the river. The room was small but very... More

When booking to stay at the hotel as a special treat for my 50th birthday I was hesitant to be spending (to me) a lot of money for just three nights, but I needn't have worried. The hotel location is idyllic, the buildings are charming and the gardens beautiful. We were made very welcome by the staff and although our... More

What a lovely part of the country, and this lovely old building with modern ( no air conditioning though) rooms and oldy world mixed together works very well. Sitting in the lounge and snug is like going back in time, I could imagine generations of folk using this inn. If you want to get away from the town and to... More

From the moment we pulled up to Reception until the moment we left, our stay was wonderful. All staff were friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was more of a country house than a (very upmarket) pub. Log fires burnt all day which were particularly welcomed on the very cold days we stayed. How lovely to come down to breakfast... More

Just back from a fantastic weekend at the Old Swan and Minster Mill. We chose the hotel as it is recognised as very dog friendly, and it did not disappoint. Our room was perfect, the staff were very friendly, service was spot-on and the food was marvelous. We genuinely cannot wait to return.

Just back from a " Sunday Sleepover " deal at the Old Swan . Overall both my wife and i really enjoyed the hotel and found it excellent value for money . We found all staff helpful and friendly , the food was good and the setting great . A couple of small niggles though , part of the sleepover... More

Dear Sir We are all delighted to hear you enjoyed your Sunday Sleepover. We're sorry too that we didn't quite have things truly perfect and disappointed that you didnt nudge us about the Champagne. It's difficult to make this up to you, unless of course, you do come back and in which case, there will be a bottle waiting with... More

Having just returned from my second business meeting here in a few months I can safely say the Old Swan is fast becoming a firm favourite of our business. What impresses me most is not the attention to detail of the team (you only ever have to ask once), or the effortless ease in which all the staff make conversation... More

Have just returned from a family birthday celebratory weekend at the Old Swan & Minster Mill where we were celebrating my father-in-law's 80th birthday (9 of us) What a lovely place in a great setting. The staff were all friendly and couldn't do enough for us. My 10 year old daughter loved seeing the guinea pigs in the garden. Our... More

My wife and I stayed here with our two young children while visiting family in Oxfordshire. The hotel was an absolute delight to spend a week at. The setting, location, service and amenities were all very very good. The manager took time to show us around the property upon arrival and made a point of checking in with us every... More

Dear Sir Many thanks for your kind words. We have really worked hard to offer an authentic Cotswold experience and continue to work on the restoration and extension of gardens to allow us to produce more home grown ingredients, flowers from the gardens and the development of the wild-flower meadows and conservation areas. I am sorry you were not entirely... More
