I have stayed at The Moor Hall on several occasions and enjoy the relaxed and informal nature of the experience. It is not a boutique hotel, but doesn't claim to be, or charge their rates. It is in a very good location for Ludlow and has lovely views and grounds. The rooms are clean, have good basic facilities and are... More

We booked this last minute using an AA guide book and had not done any research before hand. The AA rating was high and the picture and description enticed us to book. This place is falling down and is very shabby and not like the picture. We agree with a lot of comments previously posted such as the wallpaper falling... More

We booked The Moor Hall because of it's location and because it looked like quite a grand place to stay in. The photo's on the website looked inviting and when we received the brochure through the post, my wife and I were both taken with it as it looked even better. We were so much looking forward to staying at... More

Beautiful settings with nice but neglected grounds. The building itself was beautiful once but has sadly not been maintained well over the years.. We found out that the brochure picture is actually 25 years old!!! Inside again sadly the place was dilapidated there was no reception or service provided throughout the day or night, the staff arrived just during mealtimes... More

Well to start it is not sign posted very well we drove passed it twice. We arrived and was greeted by the owner, who showed us to our room and then he went out, we found the room with a big damp patch on the ceiling, and smelt damp, and it looked as though the windows had not been cleaned... More

This is a beautiful old house in lovely countryside with an extensive garden. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Prices are low. But, the decor is very dated and dilapidated, not at all shabby chic. There is a strong and pervasive smell from the several cats, many damp patches and eighties style wallpaper is peeling off the walls. There... More

On arrival, one is faced with a beautiful old mansion house and on stepping through the door a delightful hall with a magnificent staircase rising to a gallery above. It would take your breath away if the pervading smell of cats hadn't already done so! There were five of them who wandered throughout the building even into the dining room... More
