Just returned from a wonderful stay at Dolffanog Fach. It really was the perfect break. Alastair and Edel were welcoming and friendly, easy to talk to and delivered first class customer service. Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. It was the perfect location for walking Cader Idris and then returning to a delicious home cooked three course meal. The... More

We enjoyed our stay, great meal with delicious mushroom soup, good beer available and a fine wine list. Reasonably priced mini bar in the room. Tasteful decor and furniture throughout. The only criticism would be that the blinds in our room were curled and don't keep all of the Welsh sunshine out.

It was lovely to meet Alistair and Edel, a well travelled couple who do know what their guests expect and would enjoy. The accomodation is welcoming and comfortable, not like your regular b&b which is usually cold and tired, nor like its bigger cousin that is rather impersonal and furnished with Ikea bargains... It is very well located, easy to... More

My husband booked one night at this fantastic B&B as a birthday surprise day away. From the warm welcome, to the extra special gesture of the spring bouquet in the room to each detail that the hosts made sure to provide made the time ...in a word...fabulous! What stood out was the cozy, intimacy of the B&B and the service... More

A beautiful location with amazing scenery - pitty we visited in the middle of winter rather than in spring/summer (am positive it would look even more beautiful then!). The owners Alistair and Edel were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Unfortunately we could only stay the one night but soon regretted not booking an extra night with them!... More

It has taken me nearly a year to write this review. My husband and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary last year. We booked the dinner option as we were concerned that there were not many places nearby to eat. We were the only people there and the table was set up just for the two of us.... More

I took my girlfriend on a surprise trip to Snowdonia National Park on New Year's eve and considering the cold, wet weather I was a little concerned....... but I needn't have been. Alistair gave us a very warm welcome at Dolffanog Fach, which extended throughout our whole stay! We stayed in the spacious Cader room, which had amazing mountain views.... More

My girlfriend and I both very much enjoyed our stay here last weekend, we wanted to have a weekend out of the city to do some walking and enjoy the countryside, for this purpose Dolffanog Fach was perfect! The room was spacious and the bathroom was equipped with a jacuzzi bath and shower, the B&B also boasts a sauna, unfortunately... More

We stayed at the Dolffanog Fach B&B for three nights on bed, breakfast & dinner basis. We were amazed by the hotel and its surroundings. The B&B is ideally located to face beautiful mountains (Cadair Idris) and a lake on the left hand side. We stayed at the Cader room and we woke up to this view every morning which... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Dolffanog despite the aches and pains from walking Cadir. The rooms were beautifully presented and very comfortable. We ate in both nights and weren't disappointed either times, not only did it look great but it was very tasty. But probably the thing that made this B&B stand out was the Alistair and Edel. They...
