Beware - we came away black and blue - very low ceilings in the attic rooms and far too much furniture so always bashing into something. They offer complimentaty afternoon tea, then charge £6 for a tiny can of nuts in the mini bar. Front of House staff were great, just not enough of them. They never answered the phone.... more

The new walled garden spa area is simply stunning, and puts Babington back on the top of the list of country house hotels. It was getting a bit shabby last year but thankfully has been revamped throughout - there is simply no-where else quite like it and it's well worth the money for the ultimate luxury break more
