We stayed here for a family gathering for my parents' 70th birthdays. It was perfect. There were 14 of us from ages 3-93! There was plenty of space for us all to spread out and not feel on top of one another. The kitchens were well equipped and had plenty of everything (no sherry glasses though - although plenty of... The house was exactly what we wanted - a traditional house with large cooking areas (inside & out), open fires and plenty of bedrooms.Dave was very helpful from the moment we arrived pointing us in the direction of the local pubs (he read us well), butchers and closest supermarkets. Would highly recommend to any groups looking for a rural location... More

This place is amazing! Huge, immaculate, beautiful spaces both indoors and out, and great hosts. Easily accessible (some of us cycled from Bridgwater station), with hills, sea and river on the doorstep, and walking paths by the front door. Had a LOT of fun playing croquet in the sun. Thanks Dave and Roz for a great weekend ;o) More

From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay Dave & Ros made us feel like welcome guests. The house is tremendous, very impressive, in great condition and all of the facilities, especially the huge communal kitchen and dining room, are eye popping. Dave & Ros have cracked the problem of being attentive to guests without being intrusive and I... More

Spent an excellent long weekend staying in the Cider Barn with some friends. An exceptionally clean, splendidly equipped and comfortable place to stay. Our hosts, Dave & Roz, were most welcoming, friendly and helpful. The comprehensive facilities left nothing to be desired. The location is most pleasant and we found many enjoyable local walks, pubs and places to eat out.... More

Stayed for 3 nights with 2 friends for a cycling break in the Cider Barn. The accomodation was just as described and better than we could have hoped for. Everything was new and clean and more than you would expect - eg dishwasher, good TV, new bathrooms, BBQ, bed linen, crockery and so on. The owners were friendly and helpful... More
