Hotel is on a excellent location in the rather quiet town of clevedon, there is a 10 minutes walk to few restaurant, but also an restaurant in the hotel, did not try it out. Arrived late but got an excellent welcome from the staff, good typical breakfast. Lots of parking space and proably a nice spot to be in on... more

We stayed at the Walton Park Hotel for two nights while visiting friends in the area. The hotel is a stone structure--probably Victorian--perched dramatically on the side of a cliff overlooking the Bristol Channel. And while the hotel has seen grander days, it was perfectly adequate for a short stay. Our room was on the waterside and had a terrific... more

This was a most pleasant stay. My wife and I found that the staff were polite and efficient and made us feel most welcome. The hotel was a breath of fresh air after spending a lot of our travels in multi national 4/5 star establishments. The food was good and wholesome well presented and delightfully served. We are an older... more

Treat this visit as going back in time and you'll enjoy it! It was like visiting a hotel from a TV sitcom set in the late 1970's complete with stereotypical staff (no Basil Fawlty this time though - although def a Sybil and Manuel). The hotel room we had was very big - great view across the channel and well... more

This hotel is old and creaky but has plesent staff. Wireless Internet is a joke, dont bother getting a room on the second floor as the wireless signal does not extend that far (no repeaters!!). Food was great but the pub down the road was better. Room was small, radiator didnt work properly other than that not much else to... more

We would like to apologise to this guest for the lack of wireless internet capability on the floor where his bedroom is located. We have just had a full survey of the hotel done by a specialist systems company and they have identified the exact problem and areas where coverage is not currently 100%. With this in mind we have...

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the small seaside town of Clevedon. I stayed here on business for one night. The hotel was ok and the staff were pleasant but it isn't really set up for business travellers. Breakfast did not start until 8am which meant I had to miss out as had to leave before then. I... more

I have stayed at this property on a previous occasion and I was hoping that this time it would have improved. On arrival I noticed that my check in card had the room number crossed out and an new room allocated. When I went to my room I noted that it was quite small. At this stage I was reminded... more

This is my 2nd review of this hotel but I had to do it to update you on the bizarre food served and the free wireless internet service. On the food side I ate their twice because it was raining and couldn’t face a trip out. On day 1 I ordered steak and chips but the steak came with a... more

My wife and stayed at the Walton Park for a Saturday night as part of a group booking for a birthday party. It's quite a good venue for a big party with large public rooms looking out over the Bristol Channel to Cardiff. There is a good sized car park. The reception staff were pleasant. Our room was of a... more

We arrived on a lovely sunny evening. The location is fantastic facing the Welsh coast across the Severn Estuary. We were efficiently booked in by friendly staff. Our twin room on the top floor faced west and was overly warm as there is no aircon and the sun shines straight in, however there was a cooling breeze. The view from... more
