I spent 3 nights here & was made very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for Bev & David, the rooms are very clean & comfortable and the breakfast is super - beautifully cooked high quality food. I felt as if I had had a holiday rather than been away on business - what more can you say? more

Throughout 2009 I stayed at Elm Tree Cottage twice per month on average. Each time I received the same welcome with attention to detail being provided to cater for my specific preferences. I would not hesitate to recommend this as a first class B&B. more

I have spend the last 15 months at Elm Tree Cottage where I have been working , to help build a new School in the neighbouring village. During this time both David and Beverley have been the perfect hosts serving up lovely breakfasts (poached egss will never taste the same!) and presenting a clean and tidy room each and every... more

We only stayed at the Elm Tree for one night, but it impressed us nevertheless. We were well received before we went to the room. The room was clean and we enjoyed the television and the views. The bed were also very nice. My brother slept on an extra bed that was in the room for the occasion, but he... more

We booked for 9 nights from May-June to visit family locally. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choose of healthy foods. Lots of conversation and advise from David & Bev. We stayed another night at the beginning of July before leaving for home. Rooms were continually occupied, obviously due to the excellent accommodation, cleanliness... more

Great B&B in the countryside just outside Bristol. The cottage has beautiful views and gardens. Breakfasts are a treat, with lots of interesing options. Hosts are very congenial, and, if provoked, Dave will keep you entertained with tales of his years in the navy. All in all a real find. more

Can highly recommend, warm and welcoming, clean, great value offering a good quality breakfast. Beautiful views. Good situation for exploring the northern parts of the SW or tour stop; has good road links. B&B is on a main road but situated back enough from the road not to disturb too much; being a fairly quiet road at night. more

Lovely place in a beautiful green location. The hosts are really welcoming and friendly and they make you feel at home. The breakfast was particularly good and we didn't expect such a good service there. Perfect location to visit Bristol and the midlands, and the villages nearby are to be known! more

A French friend of mine and I planned to go for a trip anywhere in England last week. Because we work quite far from each other in the UK, we chose a half-way location : Bristol. As a snap decision, it was not prepared at all ... and I found it hard to get accomodation for the day we were... more

We stayed here in order to attend a Birthday party in the village hall and were really looking for somewhere just to lay our heads. Instead we found a lovely B&B, tucked away up a very steep slope. The rooms were well decorated and came with all the amenities necessary for an enjoyable overnight stay. We stayed in the smallest... more
