The cottages are cosy and comfortable, there is all you need in there and the hosts are just awesome. The area is definitely worth visiting as the countrysie is amazing and the old churches and pubs around are fantastic. It is a GO!! more

The four of us (two adults and sons aged 4 and 6) have been staying in "Kiri" for a week and had a wonderful time there. The cottage was very clean and all furniture in tip top condition. Our children enjoyed it straight away, especially the large LCD tv with BBC children channels. We only needed to use the stove... more

Partner and I took our 2 dogs with us and both they and us got the most fantastic welcome, despite arriving in the dark and fog!! The Cream Tea was most welcome! In comparison to some places i have stayed the cottage we stayed in (Norton) was spacious yet cosy (the log burner had been lit in readiness). Plenty of... more

Perfect setting for walking and riding or just relaxing. Great for old and young alike. Log fires in winter with endless supply of fuel. Welcome scones and cream on arrival! The owners couldn't be more helpful. We will look forward to our next visit. Quite the cleanest self catering premises we have stayed in. more

We arrived to a much welcomed cream tea, clean accomodation and a roaring log fire all of which were much appreciated. We were well advised by our hosts of good eating and drinking places, they answered our many questions and if they didn't know the answers quickly sought them out, The children loved it, especially the 'park' area and feeding... more

We have just returned from our first trip to West Hollowcombe, but it certainly won't be our last after a great experience there. Peter and Irene are wonderful hosts and can't do enough to make everyone feel welcome; Irene's cream tea is to die for! The cottages (we had Norton) are impeccably clean, have everything one needs and are warm... more

A lovely location, remote but not isolated. The cottages (from an old barn conversion) are warm, comfortable and well-equipped. They are also dog-friendly. The owners are very welcoming and helpful at all times. A great place for walkers and nature-lovers. more

This was a second visit this year, we also went in April and we've been back again already. The accommodation is excellent with all the equipment you can think of, home from home. We stayed in Kiri and there was myself, husband, sister and husband and two golden retrievers. The dogs were most welcome. The area is beautiful and the... more

We have just had another fantastic week at West Hollowcombe Farm. This is our fourth visit to the same place because we love it! Peter and Irene Larcombe have become great friends and always welcome us with open arms. Their cottages are superbly well-equiped, warm and comfortable in the worst of weathers. The views and walks all around are spectacular... more

A most well appointed cosy cottage on Exmoor in a very tranquil hamlet. An abundance of wildlife can be seen in the surrounding area. Ideal for keen walkers. People and their pets are made extremely welcome by the owners, Peter and Irene, who go out of their way to make sure your stay is stress free and relaxing. What more... more
