Our first visit to North Wheddon Farm was excellent and we will go back! We stayed in the self catering apartment with our 2 year old boy and it was perfect, from fresh bread from the bread maker ready on our arrival, to 'home grown' sausages and bacon left in the fridge, plenty of space, clean and welcoming. Rachael and... More

Just been back to North Wheddon Farm for our 2nd visit - the first was a couple of years ago. What I'd really stress is that this is a really relaxed place to stay where you'll be made very welcome - in the best easy-going, informal sort of way - by owners Rachael and Julian. So: great for winding down,... More

This was my first visit to North Wheddon farm and I stayed with my family (two young children) for a week. Even though it was December there was plenty to do exploring the stunning countryside, seeing the Exmoor ponies and going to the coast. There was spectacular scenery. My children particularly loved feeding the animals at the farm every day... More

I stayed at North Wheddon Farm for almost a week, and very much enjoyed it (particularly since the weather was fantastic!). The food was excellent - fresh, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, but not over the top for every day. "Home-grown" sausages for breakfast were superb, and evening meals were something to look forward to. Rachael and Julian are very... More

We had a wonderful last-minute week staying in the self-catering barn at the beginning of september with our 8 month old daughter. The barn was very spacious and really well equipped - everything you needed for a home from home, including travel cot, high chair, mini blender and bread maker! The lounge had windows looking out onto the yard with... More

We stayed in August, in Eden Lodge, with our then 8 week old son. The apartment was very well equipped, very clean and had more than enough space for the three of us and all the kit that comes with travelling with a baby. We were made to feel welcome right from the start, with bread baking ready for us... More

We had a wonderful long weekend with family and dogs. Exmoor is such a special place and staying at the farm is a perfect way to appreciate it - the countryside is on your doorstep and the atmosphere is laid back and friendly. The barn was spacious and comfortable and the dinners were superb. We even stumbled across the village... More

We stayed at the farm at the beginning of September in Eden Lodge for a long weekend with our two grandchildren. The lodge had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the complimentary bread, eggs and meat was very welcome. The children loved the freedom of being able to wonder around and see the animals and fell in love... More

We stayed at the Farm at the end of June, in Eden Lodge. Stunning accomodation, with ample room for us and our 2 girls, 1 in a travel cot which was provided for us. Rachael made us feel very welcome even providing complimentary home grown sausages and bacon and a homemade loaf of bread when we arrived. My girls still... More
