This was the 5th time my husband & I holidayed at Ralegh's Cross Inn. The hotel is under new management but the same lovely staff are there. A few changes have been made, menu is slightly different & carvery is available on extra days. We find the food very good & the rooms homely & comfortable. Still a little TLC... More

This was our third visit to Ralegh's Cross, the last one being about 5 years ago. We managed to get in at very short notice in one of the last rooms available. Thankfully in the 5 years since our last visit very little had changed. That may seem a strange thing to say but what this venue has is charm... More

We were attending a special occasion in the area and decided to spend a couple nights at The Ralegh`s Cross Inn, We tried to book online in mid April for our stay on the 4th and 5th of May but the online booking system in place stated that we could not do this, as it was already past the date... When I say old fashioned I mean it in the nicest possible way, it's great to see somewhere which has resisted the urge to gut the place and put leather seating and beige walls in. We had a very warm welcvome at reception on arrival, and we appreciated the seating area with complementary cake and facilities to make drinks with... More

We have been visting Ralegh's Cross Inn for over 40 years, during which time it has changed hands a few times and been modernised/extended. Despite new owners (always a worry for regulars) the menu remained similar, as did the prices, with the obvious necessary increases and some variation to dishes offered. All proceeded very satisfactorily until recently. Our last few... More

Stayed here for 1 night in January while visiting friends. Amazing location, very comfortable room and the food was exceptional. If I ever find myself down this way again, I will definitely be staying here.

Stayed here for two nights in January 2013. The hotel is situated very high up in the hills, with stunning countryside around it - and proved to be a good location to make day trips from. The hotel is a little dated - but is spotlessly clean, and the staff were all very obliging and friendly people. As we were... More

Stayed for two nights while visiting relatives nearby. We were given a warm welcome, and staff were helpful & friendly throughout. My wife's request for extra pillows was dealt with quickly. The room was comfortable, although as our window faced out over the kitchens, the hum of the extractor fans (or whatever) was a bit intrusive. Food was good, wholesome,... More

Spent the beginning of our honeymoon here. Friendly staff, a clean, comfy four poster bedroom and food to die for - portions were huge! So glad we chose Ralegh Cross. Not far from the main towns and had a day trip to Dunster Castle, which was so picturesque. We wanted a 'get away from it all' hotel and it was... More
