Just had a great weekend at this hotel with a group of friends. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was all excellent and They had some interesting beers and ciders. Good value for money.

could not believe the size of the rooms when we arrived - massive !!! helpful staff and a peaceful and comfortable nights sleep was pleasantly surprised by the bar food which I thought for the money (cheap) was good only complaint is that whilst everything was clean - it felt a bit dated

Good ambiance, well appointed public rooms. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast, rather than buffet style, which is often rather tired. Only complaints - no extra blankets in bedroom on a cold night, bathroom a little dated, resulting in a shower tap difficult to turn.
