AA 4 Star rated...I think not...70's decor-shower in a converted cupboard...mismatched and darned bedlinen.....threadbare towels...also mismatched ...cutlery and china at breakfast wouldn't even reach minimum standards required.
Exterior of house wonderful and the garden superb ...but be warned there are private signs everywhere- look but don't touch.
When I expressed my dissatisfaction (having paid the full price I felt entitled) I was shown a assessment document dated 2005...but I checked the AA site and the current assessment was 4 stars- I was appalled..the owners were not apologetic as no one else had complained but the visitors book had names and addresses of guests but very few comments...damned with faint praise mehtinks.
Oh and I forgot....timer switches on all the lights...but one would have to be an Olympic Gold Medalist to cover the distance before they went out! more
