I recently stayed overnight with my daughter (12) at the start of February. Sarah very kindly opened specially for us and made us very welcome. We stayed in the loft apartment, which is long and provides lots of space, with its living room, bedroom and bathroom - much more than your average B&B room, and is beautifully furnished and decorated.... Fabulous location, beautiful rooms, legendary breakfasts and above all, we were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay. The degree of care lavished on us (which included being woken up so we didn't miss breakfast) was amazing. The best B&B I have ever stayed at by far. Would be a great place for a honeymoon! There are good country... More

We recently spent 1 night in the loft apartment, and look forward to many future visits. Sarah made us feel very, very welcome indeed. We felt so comfortable with our room and the general ambience of the place, that we didn't even bother leaving - just ordered a curry from a great local Indian restaurant, to go with the bottle... We had the most wonderful weekend, The Yew Tree is a fantastic little hideaway! We stayed in the Attic room - it was perfect, warm and snug, very comfortable and has a nice big bed, lovely and clean with all the little extras and thoughtful things (a bit of urban luxury basically!) from the Cath Kidston brolly incase it rained,... My husband and I spent just 1 night at Yew Tree Farm, and wished we had booked for longer. Sarah made us very welcome in her beautiful home. The room and bathroom were a comfortable mix of rustic charm and contemporay chic. We ate at the Red Lion at Babcary on Sarah's recomendation and were not disappointed, it was well... More

We splashed out and booked the Loft Apartment - it was great! Comfortable bed, loads of steaming hot water and a warm and inviting living area. Lovely, quiet location and great views. Sarah's breakfasts were amazing! We'll definitely be back, thank you! More

Our friends had a 60th family celebration in Somerton on the weekend of24th Sept 2011. We had tried to get accomodation in and around somerton for the evenings of friday and saturday. This we could at other B&B's but they were either too expensive or not welcoming enough. As soon as we visited the web site of Yew Tree at... More

Glad you enjoyed your stay with us, and we hope to meet you both again. Just to pick up on one of your points, the reason the parking is not on the premises is so that the other guests are not disturbed, especially at night when it is extremely quiet here. Parking in the no-through lane is pointed out on... More

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at The Yew Tree for one night following a birthday party we were attending in the area. And we definitely plan to return! That was the only negative... that we weren't staying longer. Sarah is a wonderful hostess, she made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were staying in the Willow room... More

We followed on a wedding in Taunton with a night here and it was such a lucky choice. Sarah is a great hostess, very hard working, nothing was too much trouble. This is the best breakfast, presentation, quality and everything was home made. We often travel but this was exceptional. The accommodation was comfortable and quiet and the scenery was fascinating,... More
