I stayed here for one night on business. My room was spacious although a little cold as I couldnt close the window properly. Ensuite bathroom was large and spacious. Evening meal was good, no complaints at all. Most of all the staff and landlord were great - they made us feel very welcomed. more

We did not stay overnight as we were in a nearby B&B. However we did visit for a drink and meal. Very mixed feelings. Starters were fantastic. Stayed at The Unicorn for 2 nights during June 2007. We were given room 5, which has to be the smallest hotel room we'd ever stayed in. Typically, this already small (and tatty) room had been modified to squeeze in an equally small en-suite.
