BAR, London brewers Youngs products were on sale, prices were higher than London by 50p a pint and higher than all other pubs in the town RESTURANT quality food on menu price on the high side but worth it. Breakfast, only 3 items for full english ROOMS room 5 very small, sliding door for small on-suit with massive gaps round... more

I stayed here for one night on business. My room was spacious although a little cold as I couldnt close the window properly. Ensuite bathroom was large and spacious. Evening meal was good, no complaints at all. Most of all the staff and landlord were great - they made us feel very welcomed. more

We did not stay overnight as we were in a nearby B&B. However we did visit for a drink and meal. Very mixed feelings. Starters were fantastic. Service prompt and efficient sorting the issue with corked wine with no problems at all. 1 main meal was fine, the other was awful. The risotto was dry and crispy on the bottom... more

Stayed at The Unicorn for 2 nights during June 2007. We were given room 5, which has to be the smallest hotel room we'd ever stayed in. Typically, this already small (and tatty) room had been modified to squeeze in an equally small en-suite. Minor annoyances were: tv remote did not work, and neither did thelight over the tiny sink... more
