This was my first stay at Arden cottage and myself and my family took over the house! We were greeted at the gate and received the warmest of welcomes upon arrival. While the dogs got to know each other we enjoyed homemade brownies and tea sat by the fire. The house itself is full of history and character with very... More

It was lovely to meet you and your family (Alfie the dog included). Catching up in front of the wood-burning fire over tea and cake was fun and we hope that the wedding plans for August go well. We look forward to taking care of Alfie whilst you enjoy the wedding. You can tell us all about it when you... More

...beautiful house that tells fascinating story with the Quantock hills and Exmoor National Park just around the corner. Paul and Jane gave us a warm and caring welcome. Despite our short stay we luckily found some time to get to know our lovely hosts. Accomodation was lacking nothing and the bad was incredibly comfortable^^ The delishious breakfast was rich in... Had a one night stay at this B&B. Warm and friendly greeting the minute we arrived, the couple who run the business could not do enough for me and my family. Beautiful place, in a beautiful location, with comfort being top notch. Breakfast was individually ordered and perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend.

It's always great to have a family come and stay when attending a wedding and yours was no different. Easy going and interesting to talk to. We look forward to seeing you again especially if you wish to enjoy the Steam Railway during one of its Special Days. Thank you for choosing us. More

This was my second stay at Arden Cottage and am looking forward to going back again. Lovely place, very comfortable and warm (which was essential this visit as temperatures were arctic) and lovely people (Jane and Paul) who treat all of their guests like visiting friends. I can highly recommend Arden Cottage to anyone visiting Somerset.

It was lovely to see you again and we just continued where we left off at your last visit. We look forward to seeing you again and let's hope the weather is warmer next time so that you can enjoy sitting in the garden and walking without having to wear a hat, gloves and scarf. More

We had booked a short break and it turned out to be a cold one, but the welecome we received was such a warm welcome, the room was at a nice temperature, and despite the cold out side everything was done to make sure that we had an excellent break.

Paul and Jane are friendly relaxed hosts and I much enjoyed their hospitality in their beautiful 15th Century home full of character and charm (and the largest inglenook fireplace I have ever seen). Cake and tea on arrival and a superb breakfast before heading off. Excellent!

A warm welcome with a cosy room and a great selection at breakfast are what you might expect at any B&B, but here you get much more. I have stayed with Jane & Paul on several occasions as a single, with my partner and with a mum in law in tow. The welcome and friendly service never fails. There are... More

Jane and Paul are very welcoming hosts, who live in a beautiful thatched cottage. We were looked after from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we drove away. Very comfortable rooms, tea and cakes on arrival and the king of breakfasts to start the day with. Paul was also happy to go out of his way... More
