Excellent food, excellent and friendly service. We were a large family reunion the staff were very friendly and helpfully for such a large party. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning one day.

Have eaten here on a number of occasions while on holiday in the area. Friendly staff, warm welcome with good food from the menu or specials board even our small dog was made welcome in the bar. Good selection of real ales. Difficult to beat.

Visited on yet another wet & miserable day ...so it was great to have a smile & then a peaceful meal. I had the lamb chops which were lovely. The desserts sound delicious but for those of us with ailments all too sugary. Still we had a nice coffee and am sure to be back.

We have dined at this fantastic country pub on five occasions now & each time we have been served with excellent food by very pleasant staff. An added bonus to this is the fine choice of ales available. This pub is well worth a visit - highly recommended .

This is a blast from the past in terms of attention to detail. Remember when you used to get tea and coffee, biscuits and bits in the bathroom? This is a lovely English hotel - very nicely appointed rooms, great traditional English bar and food. I recommend it.
