We stayed for a couple of nights while we explored the area. The staff were extremely welcoming. The rooms were large, well decorated and very comfortable. Afternoon tea was very lovely but most uncomfortable sitting in the Drawing room. Very difficult to relax when you have to perch on the edge of a sofa . It was a Sunday lunch and do understand that they were busy but I felt most unladylike .
