Had dinner with my wife and we were airports at the quality of the food. It was excellent. We spent about £30 per head which is a little on the high side for the area but justified. Wine list needs plenty of work. Waitress hadn't a clue what rose wine was and I quickly got the impression that the owners... More

Slightly off the beaten track if you are not from the area, but well worth it. The food was really fantastic and they had a fantastic choice of specials too. We were naughty and had some deserts, which are well worth a try........

Good, well presented quality food. The menu was very meaty, a choice of one dish per type of meat, and only one vegetarian dish. I had a wild mushroom and Stilton and asparagus bread and butter pudding, it was light in texture and very tasty, i have never tasted a vegetarian dish this nice before. We did have a side... More

Group of 4 on a Saturday night. First time we have eaten here. Excellent, attentive service. Quality of food is superb. Three course meal including drinks and wine was a little over £150. Excellent value. A real gem.
