I only stayed there 1 night and I was very happy with the service I recieved. Especially from one member of staff: I spoke several times with the bar manager Mr. James Morgan and he was very friendly and helpful. Even tough it was a busy night, he stayed calm and very professional. more

Awful..think we stayed the same evening the lady in the other review commented on. Dinner was absolute shambles. food took 2hrs to arrive..if you got any at all! A wedding party gatecrashed the dinner/dance as they had no evening entertainment themselves. A disgrace..nobody knew what they were doing. From the outside the hotel and grounds look so grand, but when inside its well over due an overhaul. We had 4 double rooms between us and all had paint or wall paper coming away from the wall. The rooms were very stuffy and no way of controlling the heat. The service in the reasturant and bar was the worst... more

Nice hotel, excellent and friendly staff in the leisure facilities, in fact all staff very nice. Good sleep in lovely bed but hotel felt just slightly shabby and in need of a bit of care and attention. Would not choose to stay there again unless special package deal or likewise. Building really quite ugly. more
