I stayed to attend a wedding nearby. The hotel is in the process of being refurbished and the communal areas are really quite nice. The hotel has lovely gardens, which we took full advantage of because the weather was so good. We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor, whihc had not been refurbished. It was unberably hot and... more

Haven't stayed here for a while but what a wonderful surprise. We stayed in one of their executive rooms and it was lovely. The room was clean and they had really lovely soft towels. As we were there to relax, the silence was golden. As the hotel is so near the town, just a walk away, it was easy to... more

Stayed here for a month in the executive room and enjoyed the town of Farnham as a base. There are a lot of nice restaurants and pubs at the doorstep of the hotel. The staff is an international mix with limited knowledge of the area. The hotel itself is quite charming with its history. There is no need to eat... more

My company booked me in here as I was training at the HO in Farnham (and while this comment is not germane to the hotel review, what a dump Farnham is, BTW). The hotel is a very old building, and as seems to be norm, a bit of a rabbit warren. My room was 3xx and of course no lift,... more

this is a good standard hotel. Some of the bedrooms have recently been referbished and it makes a big difference to the hotel. The old rooms are not that good. I think all of the new rooms are on the ground floor. The food is of a good standard. The main appeal of the hotel is its location. Overal a... more

Stayed here in August for a wedding I was attending near Farnham. The hotel is nothing spectacular, but perfectly reasonable. Has ample parking, staff are friendly and the bar area is nice. Also has some decent gardens that are pleasant to sit in. If you want a reasonably priced hotel in Farnham with decent amenities then this one will do... more

I absolutely would not recommend this hotel. The food was bad. The walls are thin and the people around us were noisy. The Reception staff and 'Duty Manager' were unhelpful at best and on leaving, exceptionally rude. We booked to have dinner bed and breakfast and had to remind them of this - we wished we hadn't. We were the... more

Lots of charm in a building with a long history. Perfect if you would rather have something distinctly English rather than a spotless, modern hotel experience. Highly recommended. more

Stayed for Saturday night for our wedding anniversary. Staff extremely helpful with arranging a delivery of flowers, put into our room as suprise for my wife. Dealt with 3 members of staff, 2 reception and barman who all appeared to like working there and were genuinely please to help. Excellent room, very clean with tea/coffee and complimentary flapjack bite things... more

We were attending a wedding in farnham and needed somewhere local to stay overnight. the mercure bush seemed best suited as it was centrally located which was ideal as we would not have to drive some distance and the hotel website pictures looked good, however when we arrived it was very apparent that the pictures were probably taken many years... more
