We loved the whole experience, the restaurant was fantastic with great food and equally great service. The locals were very friendly and made us feel welcome the whole time we were there and the pub itself was lovely and had a very friendly atmosphere. The rooms were well decorated and very comfortable, we would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Returned six months after new owners took over. Decorated, strong wifi, but still the same friendly helpful service. Evidence of a lot of investment in the fabric, but have not spoilt the charm of this old hotel. Lyn's bright smiling face with breakfast each morning started the day right! The landing carpet was filthy. The Wifi did not work. The room was shabby with cracked walls. The website showed a bistro hotel. The reality was awful. Very warm welcome huge ensuite room. Hotel full of character. Very good personal caring service. Highly recommended. Only downside noise from road Well worth visit
