Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We came here for the 1st time for a night stay evening meal and breakfast through a present for Xmas via booking.com. Was a little disappointed to find out the pool and spa facilities were an extra charge( which when you have paid for b and b and an evening meal you would think it would be inclusive). However parking was free as long as you registered at reception which is good. The room was spacious and bathroom too.Shower above bath.Water pressure was excellent whilst having bath/ shower.Evening meal was bookable.Soup lovely, pate, crackers, salad, potato salad, pasta for starters.Mains was buffet style.3 meats, roast and mash potatoes, veg and gravy.Pudding was black forest gateaux, chocolate cake and strawberry cake.We only managed to eat one piece as was very full indeed. All food was very good and hot as we went in at 6pm as it opened. The hotel is a little dated but in keeping with the history of the hall really. But in our room 114 needs new taps as they were difficult to switch on and off .Room was very warm even with windows open.Breakfast was lovely, all you need really... full English, toast, cereals, cakes and yogurts and fruit.Coffee and tea etc. Had a look around the grounds and inside of the hotel which was interesting. Check in was in my opinion a bit late at 4pm and check out a bit early at 10am.However you could pay extra 10 pound for 12 o'clock checkout. All in all good value for money, food very good, nice location and staff were friendly also. Would stay here again definitely.

From checking in the receptionist was very blunt and not welcoming at all. Asked her about dinner and breakfast times and all she said was read the info I’ve given you. Not a smile in sight! On finding the room after the long long walk down every corridor …. It was freezing cold. No heating, so found a plug in heater which we had to use, Then when using the toilet, which was dirty , we looked in the bath and it was filthy. Had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Hairs everywhere with muck in the bottom of the bath. The hotel room was very small, bathroom that small you could touch both walls at once. Very dated and needs modernising. Also didn’t realise that it’s full of coach holidays. Felt like a butlins, overcrowded and very loud. Not suited for a couples break!! Will not be revisiting ever again. Shame!!! As bosworth is a lovely place

We went here with UK Breaks, for a tribute weekend ( Tina Turner & Michael Buble) We had a fantastic weekend, hotel clean. Room nice, but a little hot, but we opened the windows. Staff amazing. The reception gets bad reviews but our experience they were all jolly and cheerful as well as very helpful. A big mention to Jane, everyone we spoke to loves her. We found Ash, the manager, very helpful. Ben, the UK rep, very helpful. Chatty. The DJ was marvellous. He made the nights, what with his quizzes and requests. The only downside was the "restaurant" in that there were too many tables crammed into the space which makes this a health and safety issue in that the tables were too close together, l less then 1 foot instead of the legal 3 foot. The food was OK for the price we paid. Other then this we will be back!

Beautiful room with very comfy bed. Views are stunning. Swimming pool was lovely and big. Gardens are gorgeous, shame it was raining. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. Receptionist was extremely helpful. So sorry it was only a 1 night stay but hope to return soon.

It’s probably a great hotel for the retired on coach excursions -which is what the hotel was full off, however it’s not for business use. The bar couldn’t charge to the room, not great if you have an allowance, dinner was a help yourself , although at 7:30pm they had ran out of one of the main dishes. The waitress was pleasant but apart from serving some special guests (managers of the hotel) with everything they wanted she didn’t do any “waitressing”for anyone else. The rooms were adequate but dated with the thinnest of quilts. The breakfast was excellent.

Bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever stopped in, instead of a executive bed as expected and paid for it was 2 single beds bolted together, breakfast was shocking fried eggs stone cold no sausages available, and other guests made our stay very uncomfortable with all of their cussing and swearing all of the above completely ruined our special occasion we will never stop here again and would not recommend

My Partner and I visited this weekend for a break with UK Breakaways and I can honestly say for the price, the hotel was incredible. Cleanliness. 1st Class..tasteful decor Staff. Amazing, nothing too much trouble Breakfast. Cereal, Toast, Full English, Croissants, Fruit, Orange Juice etc Dinner. Soup, Plenty of choice, also for vegetarians. Hot, hot, hot Entertainment First Class Ed Sheeran Friday night and Pink Saturday night Very good resident DJ.and topped off by a great crowd of people Bars...yes it takes a while to get served but when it's 2 for 1 its expected...Good choice too The House itself is incredible beautiful architecture, high ceilings and interior design is faultless. We will definitely be going back again and again, thank you both UK Breakaways and Bosworth Hall for a fabulous stay at an amazing price

Spent 2 nights here for the tribute weekend. HOTEL Beautiful buildings and grounds ROOMS basic but clean. Shower took nearly 20 minutes to get warm. FOOD AND DINING AREA Breakfast was cold despite the utensils nearly burning my fingers, too cramped whilst eating people were squeezing to get past. Coffee was disgusting Evening meal average bit again cold

Having visited Bosworth hall hotel and spa in the past I felt a mini spa break was long overdue. Being that I was alone I was made to feel very welcome by all the staff I encountered. The bedrooms are a little dated but I feel it all adds to the charm. The location is stunning and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I had a slight issue with my television on the first night and it was very quickly rectified so my relaxing evening could continue.
