Right.... Where shall I start! Me and my girlfriend arrived at the hotel and parked our car in a messy unsafe car park. We then walked around the hotel and noticed many cracks in the windows, dirty walls and even some towels hung up for curtains (Amazing first impression)! We then went inside and got greeted by the freaky camp... More

Staff were fine, but walked in there's a horrible old smell, the bathroom ceiling is so damp it's newly falling through! I don't know how that place is aloud to let people stay there!! I wouldn't even stay there free if given the chance!!! Was in there 5 minutes and walked out didn't even stay the night!!

I just cannot believe that somewhere as awful as this exists in this country. I can't believe it hasn't been closed down. I can't express just how terrible this place is... I'm not a snob, I understand that this is a budget hotel and for that reason I didn't expect much, just somewhere half decent to rest our heads for... More

We wanted a cheap room and came across this. Although the rooms were not up to we couldn't complain at £25. After we settled we went downstairs to the little bar and BBQ grill and wow. First impressions were very small but after sitting down we really enjoyed it. Very friendly and welcoming people and wow what can I say... More

Well, where shall I start when reviewing the Best (worst) Inn Hotel? I shall start with the wasteland of a car park which was trashed with litter and broken glass and looked like it could be one of Birmingham's prime dogging or cruising spots. The greeting me and my girlfriend had at reception was a bit frosty to say the... More

I booked into the Birmingham Central Hotel in February (via Booking.com), they contacted me a week later to say they couldn't honour my booking and had moved me to the Birmingham Best Inn Hotel. Before I had even the opportunity to say 'Why would I want to stay there? It's nowhere near BNS station!' the Birmingham Best Inn Hotel had... More

My wonderful wife booked the Birmingham Best Inn as we wanted to save as much money as possible to spend on fun things in Birmingham – another story. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. He gave us our key and a complex stream of instructions on how to get to our room. After several tries through the myriad of... More
