We stayed here a night whilst visiting family over the weekend. The room including breakfast was very reasonably priced and was clean, cosy and warm although a bit run down . The biggest issue was the bed - the mattress was very uncomfortable and the bed very hard, and only one bedside cabinet. There was a kettle and tea provided... More

I was very lucky to have found this place and I couldn't rate it enough. My room was very clean, warm and cosy. A lot of the reviews I've read have stated that rooms need to be upgraded with modern furnishings, well, I disagree entirely. It is such good value for money and the actual place itself has a wonderful... More

Having been to a few pubs in Lindfield, this is by far my favourite. The building is beautifully old and traditional with open fireplaces and nooks and crannies to sit and relax over a drink. There is a warm family atmosphere and children are welcome. The Bent Arms also has a large car park which means you do not have... More

After reading previous reviews I wasn't expecting very much.It was booked for 2 nights so we could see family in the village. We literally had breakfast and slept there so it was fine for that purpose. The positives were it was very clean, good service and a lovely breakfast. The negatives were shower was useless and the road noise. All in all it served our... We stayed in the family room with our teenage daughter and my sister stayed in a double room. We were greet warmly and checked in quickly. We were given a key and given directions to the room. The family room was perfectly adequate if a little compact for three. Everything worked, it was clean and what we needed. A refurbishment... More

We stayed at the Bent Arms for 2 nights and in general the place was everything we were expecting having read previous reviews. Our room and the bathroom were clean but the bath and shower need taking out and replacing as the shower was terrible and had no pressure at all and the bath was ancient. The bed although very... Dreadful experience with old underwear/socks left in room from previous occupant. TV did not work. Only one bed side lamp. Accomodation noisy. Nasty feeling that one was in a 1970 caravan. Piles of fag ends outside garden entrance door. Room needs total renovation. Staff were helpful but acted like the compalints I made were an every day occurence. Local residents... More

Everything you need from a country pub - good food, friendly staff, excellent service and historical building. We stayed in the cottage which openend onto beer garden, ideal for our weekend family get together. Great value for money.

I have stayed here a couple of times. Yes there are some areas which could do with refurbishment but it is an old building with character. Pub garden is fine and the food is very good. Some choice of fruit - yogurt - etc at breakfast would be a welcome addition as a full cooked variety is not wanted by... More
