We were greeted by Fiona on arrival and shown to our rooms. The place is clean and welcoming and about a 15 minute walk to the High Street and 10 minute walk to the beach. The cooked breakfast was tasty and there was plenty to eat along with fresh fruit salad and cereals. More

After receiving a friendly greeting from the owner, I was first impressed when shown to my room. The quality of the fittings and layout of the room, were of a far higher standard than I was expecting for £27.50! There was a quality oak sideboard, plenty of space to move around, a very comfortable bed, plus a hairdryer, clock radio/alarm... More

It is hard to find comfortable affordable B+Bs in Britain. They usually have dripping shower heads, sloppy tinned tomatoes with the breakfast, uncomfortable beds, blah blah blah...But the selborne house B+B was a surprise and a break from the norm. A small B+B with only 3 rooms - one en suite, and two with a separate bathroom with proper bath... More
