I stayed for one night prior to an international flight. The check-in and check-out were speedy, professional and efficient, the room was quiet and very clean, and overall it was exactly what one should expect in an airport-based hotel. The hotel is in a big transformation at the moment with lots of building work going on - the reception and bar area is totally out at the moment. However it will be good when finished Bedrooms up to the usual standards - new black on 7th is excellent more

We recently stayed at the Gatwick HIlton - the first time for 26 years and I don't think any upgrading had been done since! The reception is a building site which is very offputting. Bens MOM! Your review on this hotel from January 2008! is not indicative of the hotel now. The hair salon (franchise) moved from this hotel in April 2008. The family rooms have been completely renovated in 2009 and we receive numerous compliments regarding the food in all areas particularly from our Gold/Diamond Hilton Hhonors members. Best regards.

We spent only one night. Check-in was fast, if not overly friendly. But they let us get our room earlier than normal, so i won't complain.
