Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a very exciting new place is a magnificent setting .expect a warm welcome from Will and the team they have the right balance of formal professional service with a friendly manner . First to the bar and Callum serves the fuel for a fantastic evening . We really went to town and had the tasting menu ,well worth it if you are into a world class dining experience,…trust me when I say “this is up there “. We joined a busy restaurant, so make sure you book, word is out and there is a growing fan base for this pearl that sits in Sussex downs only a short hope from london . The rooms are excellent warm welcoming and very sumptuous . No surprise the whole place has been getting good reviews from the national press . I woke up with 2 feelings, well rested from an truly excellent fine dining experience, I really mean it …this food will blow your mind along side the tasting menu there is great options and my vegetarian wife was very happy with so many wonderful options . 2nd feeling was one of feeling quite smug about having discovered this place and been in early .We will be back with friends and family this is a great treat destination for lovers of food , comfort ,style and service or just lovers . Will and his team plugged in the Lecce car and we had a wonderful walk . I think we got lost and met some alpacas or was it lamas not sure ,but it all added to the fun . If you can try the full English , it’s another level . We loved being among the staff and feeling there enthusiasms for this place …it is infectious.

The White Graffham is a rare gem. Nestling in its own tranquil corner of the village of Graffham with views over the South Downs National Park. Attention to detail is exceptional; even compared to many five star hotels I've stayed in yet the atmosphere is relaxed and not fussy. The six bedrooms are individually themed and designed. We stayed in Tansey, its en suite spacious with a cascade walk in shower. The room has lots of thoughtful touches.. A fridge with fresh milk in delightful miniature milk bottles! Who doesn't like fresh milk with their morning cuppa yet so few establishments have this in the bedrooms. Dyson hairdryer, soft towelling robes and a Nespresso machine. I loved the little patio at the rear and enjoyed gazing at the stars after dinner and listening to the birdsong while enjoying my tea before breakfast. If you're looking for antidote to the hustle and bustle of city life this could be up your street! Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in with sheets so soft that you float off to sleep. The breakfast buffet is an impressive continental affair with cooked items a la carte. I loved the honeycomb from their own hives! Very much looking forward to staying again!

We received the warmest of welcomes on arrival and instantly felt at ease and relaxed in this delightfully charming pub. The staff are very friendly and attentive and after enjoying a drink in the beautiful garden we were shown to our room...and WOW, what a spectacular room ! Soothing music greeted us as we entered the room which is decorated to feel luxurious and elegant. The attention to detail is impressive, with every need thought of from: high quality sheets, pillows, dressing gowns , the fluffiest towels and blackout curtains. There is a coffee machine, kettle with a large selection of teas and a fridge with milk and water. I was delighted to discover a Dyson hairdryer had also been provided ! We stayed in Cowslip which has a private outdoor terrace to sit and enjoy the tranquil view. Our stay was so relaxing and we hope to return in the near future.

To be greeted by the smiling faces of the quietly efficient staff was a great tonic after a two hour journey and we were made very welcome. The interior was as you would expect from a top class Inn. The room was immaculate and very comfortable with wonderful views over the Sussex countryside Dinner of fish and chips was excellent and despite the restaurant being very busy was delivered without delay. We understand that there has been a change of ownership and has been completely refurbished which accounts for the feeling that we were in a luxury establishment.

Despite the vile weather last night, we braved the wind and rain and had a meal at the White Horse and I am so glad we did. The food was superb! We were welcomed with a drink at the bar before being shown to our table in the conservatory. I began with the scallops which were perfectly cooked and complemented by a delicious sauce. This was followed by the sea bream, probably one of the best fish dishes I have tasted. The fish was cooked perfectly once again and the accompaniments provided an outstanding balance of flavours and textures. This course was truely exceptional. I completed my meal with the lemon polenta cake which was the perfect way to complete an outstanding experience. The staff were smart, polite and attentive and the whole experience was fabulous. This was the best dining experience I have had in a long while.
