Stayed at this motel in April 2009 when visiting family who live in Moree. As i was travelling with my two young sons we asked for a family room. They don't really have any but were shown into room 1 (i think) which is one of the rooms for disabled persons. This was a large room with a large bed... more
The room was recently decorated with a new bed. The staff were extremely helpful with a problem we had with my car whilst there. I ate at the restaurant one night and the meal was as good as any pub meal I have in my travels. All in all a fantastic overnight stop. more
Driving from Victoria to Qld you need to stay somewhere. Don't stay here! Yes the 'spa' is relaxing but the room was a disgrace as was the exorbitant cost for what you get. This property is now known as the Artesian Spa Motor Inn. Moree was a one night stop for us on a longer drive through NSW. Spacious room. Quiet, set back off the highway, right on the edge of town & start of the main street so close to everything. Has a swimming pool AND its own Hot/Therapeutic Thermal Spring Pool (about 15m I guess) at 43deg. Very, very relaxing and great for sore joints.
