We stayed at Southall B&B in April 2009 for our Blue Mountains Easter getaway. We had originally intended to stay in Leura or Blackheath but all accomodation there was already booked out. The only problem with staying in Springwood was the heavy peak hour traffic heading into Katoomba at the beginning and end of the day. The B&B is located right on the main highway so you could occasionally hear the traffic at night.

The part of the building we stayed in originally used to be horse stables. The room was relaxing, cosy and romantic, complete with four poster bed, open fireplace and freshly flowers in the ensuite. (We were a little disappointed by the size of the bath - could only fit one person!). We appreciated all the small touches in our suite however - we were greeted by a plentiful welcome basket upon arrival - easter eggs, fresh fruit and breakfast provisions.
