I spent so many hours just to find a good quality hotel.I knew Cradle Mountain Lodge would be an expensive option, however considering its location i decided to go for it. The decision proved to be right. Satff were friendly ... rooms were very tidy and comfortable ... but the amazing thing was the location ... I guess i would... more

This is a true mountain experience. There is nothing phony or put on about Cradle Mountain Lodge. My husband and I spent two nights in Cradle Mountain in October. When we booked it was called Voyages but that had changed by the time we arrived. We had a Pencil Pine cabin with breathtaking views over the lake and the main... more

What can we say, our main complaint is that it is so expensive! We stayed for two nights in a spa cabin, which was nice but not amazing. The spa was average- older style but we enjoyed the wood fire. The kitchenette didn't have any plates only two sets of cutlery. When looking in the wardrobe on the first night... more

I envisaged our three day stay at Cradle Mountain Lodge would be the highlight of our holiday instead we couldn't wait to get out of there. We had upgraded to a spa suite as they looked delightful on the internet, unfortunately on arrival we found the rooms to be quite tired and in need of a refurb. Considering this was... more

We arrived in the rain, with mist down obliterating on the mountain, and it didn’t stop raining (except when it snowed), for the 2 days we were there, so our impressions may be a bit jaundiced. However, it seemed like an overgrown holiday camp, with a list of “activities” (all at extra cost) being handed to us almost before we... more

We first discovered the lodge last year while searching out relaxing and romantic places to spend part of our honeymoon and chose it to spend two nights here. Having had the chance to come back to Tassie this year for our first wedding anniversary we chose to once again stay here and were not disappointed. We have stayed in both... more

You must go to this place and experience the beauty of Tasmania's wilderness. You will be refreshed and relaxed in a lovely hotel which caters to everyone's needs. The rooms are cozy and warm and comfortable, modern and clean. The main lodge is what a wilderness Lodge should be, roaring fires and other guests chatting and reading and playing games.... more

We went to Cradle Mountain Lodge for five nights for our honeymoon. We received a free bottle of champagne in our room. It was a really lovely lodge with great attention to detail. We stayed in a spa cabin which was just fabulous, big bathroom, remote control gas fire and large balcony. We ate at the restaurant once and it... more

We stayed here for two nights. The first cabin we were given had a problem with the fireplace and we had to move after unpacking etc ! That was annoying! But once we re settled in the new cabin it was fine. The cabins are nice. Basic, but fine. The place is great though Lots of wildlife. Lots of mist... more

Stayed in a Pencil Pine Cabin with my partner and 1 year old son. Was a gorgeous little one room cabin with separate bootroom and a little balcony overlooking catch-and-release pond. Heaters (which were essential) were a bit tricky to operate but worked very well once I had it sussed. Bed was very comfy and bathroom was pristine and very... more
