The Lodges are located on the edge of the National Park. It is ideally located in the middle of all the action. Fantastic location to explore the Cradle Mountain National Park. Avoids you potentially being stranded if weather deteriorates suddenly, which can happen. Have a choice to either catch the shuttle bus to take you into the park or a short drive into the park, recommend the shuttle bus, roads into the park are quite narrow and you may have to dodge... more

We had one night at cradle mountain lodge at the end of our Tassie trip. We arrived at around 1pm in the afternoon and it had just started snowing. The lodge was great. We got a great deal on a spa suite on Wotif and felt the room was well priced but would not have wanted to pay full price.... more

Our spa cabin was nothing special - nice fireplace but boring décor and worn, dirty upholstery. Bathroom very plain and with crazy heating system. No view whatsoever but many animals roaming around the property made it fun. Overall the lodge is quite nice and the setting in the park is lovely.
