Outstanding location and very comfortable accomodations with a good restaurant BUT, and I know it’s eco, it’s green and it’s Tasmania, it is 2013 and no WiFi and no television simply isn’t good enough in a high priced hotel complex. Maybe it’s the season but there is no second restaurant, there’s a café that closes for food at 1500 and... More

We stayed the night at Freycinet Lodge in a Deluxe Cabin. Was well equipped, private and everything that was promised. The location was excellent being close to Wine Glass Bay and a host of walking trails. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Dining was a bizarre experience. We were seated more than 20min after our reservation time to an unset... More

Stayed three nights and walked the Wine glass bay trek taking 4 hours, came back and relaxed in the huge spa which had a large window letting in the sun just beside it, this also meant you could lie back watching the trees. The room was large and very comfortable. If you wish to watch TV you have to make... More

We recently stayed at the Freycinet Lodge, in a Deluxe Wineglass Cabin, for 3 nights. The location was excellent, the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and our cabin was very lovely (including a huge jetted tub). No internet, no phones, and no televisions in the cabins; we all disconnected for the world and really got a chance to... More

What a fantastic place. The views from our cabin across the bay towards Coles Bay were stunning especially as we had brilliant weather. The cabin was spacious, clean and well appointed. Oh and we had a TV - I don't know why a previous reviewer didn't. Staff are all very helpful and friendly and you can do various walks straight... More

We stayed in Freycinet for 1 night and thought it was great. Yes it is the more expensive option, but we didn't feel it disappointed. It was lovely coming back after a day of hiking to a fire in the lodge, warm and helpful staff and a room that was even better than expected. The room had a big spa... More

Such a great location and wonderful common areas. But isn't it sometimes the little things that get up your nose. Like not having a TV. For us grey nomads we are in the habit of watching our favorite shows and after 40 years of marriage we are not much good at looking into each others eyes all night. And no... More

Only stayed for 1 night, but what a great place. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great location right by the water in the national park. We got a good rate on the wineglass cabin. And although still a tad pricey it was really good. It was almost like a mini house rather than a cabin. Huge and open, big modern... More

This place couldn't possibly be in a better location - you are actually in the national park! Check in flawless, very friendly staff across the whole property, especially the cheerful cleaner who greeted me with a "good morning ma'am" in his british accent and who later struck up a conversation with me while I was waiting for my partner -... Arrived at 6pm. Lady at reception was efficient, friendly and helpful. Our cabin for the night (4) was clean and cosy with all the amenities. There was no tv but who needs tv when you can listen to the sound of the waves?! We had dinner at the restaurant (husband had yummy duck but I was disappointed with the pork... More
