My wife and I had a fantastic stay at this resort. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room, my gawd, it was beautiful with ocean view. It was quiet too. We stayed 2 nights on an ocean-view suite. The each suite is laid out so that you gain your own privacy, with full view of the Coles Bay.... more

Myself and my partner booked fairly last minute to go to Freycinet for 5 nights, upon good advice from friends, and found the Edge of the Bay website which looked decidely flash. I booked a cottage rather than a suite purely so we could bbq on the deck and have a bit more peace and quiet. The booking was simple... more

OK, so this isn't the cheapest place to stay but what a location! We stayed in one of the Ocean Suites which are elegantly designed and you can walk out of your patio doors, off the deck and onto your own beach. We were welcomed by friendly staff and they stayed that way throughout our 2 night stay. They were... more

Nice modern accommodations overlooking the beautiful bay. Wallabies come to your glass patio door to beg for food. Very good food and service in the dining room. But it's a limited menu that doesn't change, so you might get tired of it soon. Note that the restaurant is NOT open for breakfast; you're on your own. The boat trip to... more

Beautiful location, staff were more than accomodating on short notice. They were happy to show us both the suites and cabins. We opted for a cabin because there was three adults. The cabin was located on the waterfront and we had wallabies just outside the doorstep. We stayed two nights and plan to return in the late winter again. The... more

Location location location We originally tried to get into the more well known Freycinet Lodge and found it was booked out. Just as well, as this place has beautiful ocean views out over Freycinet Peninsula, while Freycinet Lodge sits on the peninsula and looks back to the mainland! Accomodation is comfortable clean and modern, and the rooms are right next... more

This was such a good find. We loved the minimalist, clean but practical rooms. The ocean view suites are quite new and well done(the cottages looked a little old fashioned).Full view doors open out onto the most amazing tranquil view and private beach. We walked to Cole Bay along the beach every morning (about 20 mins) and had breakfast on... more

We were delighted with our room which had breathtaking views of the bay. The room is large and furnished in a minimalist modern fashion and had a deck which had access to the beach. It was wonderful to relax on the deck and take in the beautiful views and even enjoy the company of a wallaby or two that wandered... more

This resort provides unique views of the Freycinet Peninsula. Each cottage and suite has a view, distinguishing it from the other much loved Freycinet Lodge. The views are outstanding. The cottages are very comfortable. Facilities are excellent for children - a safe swimming beach, small playground, lots of bikes and 2 tenns courts. The restaurant has a limited and expensive... more

Given their number one standing at tripadvisor, I booked to stay in this resort for two nights and sent them my credit card deposit details which they charged against my account (first night stay $244 for a suite). My teenage daughter had to unexpectedly join us on this trip and so I rang the resort the day before our planned... more
