What a beautiful place to stay. The room was equiped with all that the guest could want. A small courtyard attached where you could enjoy a cupper and plan the next day. All in all we spent three days at "Aggies". The hosts Margaret and John are very good at making you feel at home. Margaret cooked a lovely breakfast... More

From the beginning of the booking process, Margaret made it very effortless for us. We arrived in Longford after a drive from Burnie. We were welcomed by Margaret and shown to our courtyard cottage. It was not what we expected, it was a wonderful surprise. To be precise a diamond in the rough. The room was clean crisp country and... More

We loved our stop over at Aggie's, we were a family of 5 adults traveling to Stanley for a wedding. I chose Aggies because it is out of Launceston, and would set us on our way early the next morning to Stanley. It is just as close to the airport as the inner city, and in such a picturesque historical... More

This was our first B&B experience. If it is indicative of B&B experiences generally, we will be pleased to stay in B&Bs more often. Aggies B&B is well appointed, separate accommodation at a private home in Longford, Tasmania. It is clean, quiet and benefits from having a separate outdoor space where you can enjoy a cup of tea or glass... More

If you are driving from Hobart to Launceston or Devonport and need a half way stop then this is the ideal place. EVERYTHING is provided in your own cottage: washing machine, microwave, electric blankets, and country atmosphere 100%. Dont have to worry about breakfast as Margaret (Aggie her mother called her !) cooks you breakfast to order. We could not... More

I stayed at Aggie's for the first time several years ago and have returned each year when attending events in the north of the state. The decor in the courtyard room is calm and peaceful and the room is warm, bright and spotless. Margaret and John are wonderful hosts, attentive and welcoming.

Aggie's is one of the cleanest B&B's we have had the pleasure of staying in. The room with the courtyard has everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Both Margaret and John are gracious hosts, and put out quiet the breakfast spread. I would highly recommend this hidden gem of a B&B to anyone venturing through this part of... More

Margaret's b & b is a Devine little spot and was of great comfort to us as we travelled to Tasmania for a funeral. Margaret was even kind enough to cook us dinner as well as breakfast! This little spot is adorable and the garden room was just delightful. We will be making the trip again to visit this little... More

Great value, comfortable bed and friendly service with lovely breakfast. Room has kitchenette and lots of small thoughtful features including wifi. We stayed in the courtyard room which was delightful and quiet. The location seems a bit back street but don't be fooled by that it is real b&b not an overblown dump.

Stayed in the Garden Lodge, lovely room with facilities for stays longer than a day or two...microwave, griller. Room is compact, but there is a big bathroom with washing machine. There is a private courtyard to enjoy of an evening. Rate included cooked breakfast which was delicious - fresh eggs, fruit from the garden etc. Note though, there isn't any... More
