Fabulous - definetly book the Provence suite for a bit more reclusiveness. Allan and Anne the 2 hosts there are fabulous...make you feel welcome and assist you in every manner possible. Our trip was almost made perfect because of these 2 wonderful hosts. Breakfast was devine with home made toast and home made jams...... more

Recently I was on business in TAS overnight from Victoria. I wanted to stay somewhere near Devonport airport but an easy drive to Launceston. I found Tranquilles on the internet. Tranquilles is at Port Sorell, a small seaside fishing town on the inlet of the Rubicon River. Drive is about 10 mins from Devonport airport. It is quiet and relaxed.... more

My fiance' and I stayed at Tranquilles B&B on Thursday 5th October 2006 and were both extremely impressed with the accommodation and the service and respect given by John and his wife.
