Stayed for one night, after Sheffield was reccommended to us for its murals. The hosts were friendly, especially when we discovered we'd both lived in Blackburn, UK. As it was winter there were plenty of rooms and we stayed to the rear which was very quiet and allowed us to park by the room. We had a double bed and the children bunk beds and there was a fully equipped kitchen. A nice touch were a few cans of soft drinks and you're given milk to go with the coffee. We used the heater provided as it was cold in the rooms and appreciated the extra blankets. As we arrived late on a Sunday there wasn't much open, but we were recommended the local bakery which was indeed good, just to the left of the inn on the high street. The big selling point are the murals dotted around the town, info from the tourist info office which had comprehensive coverage for Tasmania. We visited the marble shop on the high street that we left with marbles and earings made from glass.
Overall a welcoming good...
