The building is lovely to look at both inside and out. Not quite as well equipped as it could be in some respects but very friendly. Overall a charming place to spend a night. Strahan itself is somewhat overrated although historically significant it is mainly a collection of nice eating and souvenir shopping places. More

Appreciated the heritage aspect of Ormiston, however did miss some 'mod-cons', and felt that our room (fixtures and fittings) would benefit from additional cleaning. Continental breakfast extremely basic. Not up to other accommodation experienced during our tour of Tasmania. More
