We stayed at Silverwater only for one night. We were sorry that we couldnt stay a few more. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, which was tastefully furnished. The design of the apartment was modern and provided plenty of space for the 4 of us (3 adults, 1 child). The apartment had two balconies, one at the front near... more

Do not consider staying at Silverwater Resort. We arrived to a room the size of a dog house, with a terrible smell of off cheese in the room, old food smell in fridge, dirty sheets, door didnt close and the handrail on our third floor didnt support us at all, nearly fell three stories down and the response was from... more

As the Manager of the resort I feel it appropriate to expand on this review. The room mentioned is our Resort Room which is our entry level room, which is the standard size of all normal hotel suites. The resort also features very spacious 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments which range from 70 - 120 sq meters. I do...

Silverwater Resort doesn't just give the impression of space - it really does have lots of room, both in the rooms and without. I had a 1 bedroom apartment which was so spacious I would have happily moved in, especially with the great view as well. I didn't get a chance to use it, but I loved that there was... more

My partner and I had a two night stay in a resort room at the Silverwater Resort. We traveled to Phillip Island (unknowingly) on the weekend of the Superbikes. As an earlier reviewer said, it was an extremely busy time at the resort and town, but nevertheless, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. ROOM: Our room was small but... more

We were very satisfied with our 1 night stay here. Our 2 bedroom hotel style apartment ( 2nd bedroom had its own locked door from the entrance hall but could also be left open ) was very comfortable and was positioned on a corner with 2 balconies. The resort was quite quiet at the time of our visit. The purpose of our... more

Silverwater Resort is an enormous near-new resort situated 10 mins from the heart of Phillip Island. It is set on a stunning hillside overlooking the water and comprises several chalet-style buildings housing between 4-12 separate apartments/rooms in each. We paid approx. $350 per night for our family of four (including a full buffet breakfast) and were given a ground floor... more

My partner and I headed down to Philip Island over the Superbike Weekend. We chose Silverwater on account of its 4.5 star rating and we really needed AND expected a luxurious weekend away from our very busy professional lives. Basically we are left wondering who hands out the ratings for Hotels in Victoria! The Resort rooms are not much more... more

We weighed up between Silverwater and a private house and in the end were swayed by the gret price we were offered for 3 br and the onside pools. In hindsight, despite the occassional sound of 'elephants tapdancing' in the upstairs apartment, we made the right choice. LOCATION: While we intended to have a 'Phillip Island' break, we were relieved... more

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment about 3 days before we travelled for $240 from the website and were lucky enough to get a ground floor room with an amazing view. It would have cost the same for 4 people to stay in 2 crappy motel rooms, so it was great value. The photos on the hotel website are accurate... more
