The Golden lamb is the best and the oldest hotel. I enjoy my stay and enjoy the decor of each and every room. I would stay there again even if it is haunted! Great old Inn in downtown Lebanon. We stayed in the Rutherford B Hayes Suite Rm 14 & 15 $103 plus tax. Two story walkup with no elevator. Large rooms. Window air conditioners, windows old and painted shut, and radiator heat. Phones, TV in sitting room, no wi-fi but there is a coffee shop just down the street that has it.... more

We loved the Golden Lamb...good food good accommodation and sevice. The stairs are a problem for those with disabilities. Nice to stay in a spot out of the high traffic zones and be able to eat on the premises. more

Three of my friends joined me for a two night stay at the Golden Lamb. Our rooms were clean and interestingly furnished with period pieces, but the overall impression was one of genteel shabbyness. Its creaking floors, lack of an elevator, and poor soundproofing between rooms gave it historic charm but also made it less than the norm in lodging.... more
