The Elson Inn is a convenient location for visiting Canton, Ohio, Amish country, Atwood Lake and the Dover and Zoar area. This is a beautifully restored upscale Victorian home. Rooms are quiet and roomy. The Elson's know the area well and can give many suggestions for your visit. We had a very good dinner at the The Atwood Lodge about 15 minutes away. The countryside is lovely and not crowded with cars. The National First Ladies Museum housed in another beautiful Victorian is about 25 minutes away. I have stayed at the Inn three times and have enjoyed every stay.

Elegant beautifully restored Victorian Mansion located in nearby quiet Magnolia, Ohio. The inn is next door to the Elson flour mill and the canal towpath. Close to Zoar and Amish Country. 30 minutes south from Canton. The Elson's are down to earth, knowledgable about the area and take great pride in the family home. They also respect your privacy. Breakfast was an egg casserole and pastries and beverages. The dormitory room has 2 double beds and is very light and airy and private newly renovated bathroom. President McKinley use to come to the house to visit his friend Richard Elson, the original owner. Adults only. Rated one of the top 8 Inns for Historical Charm. more
