I booked this motel only because every room in Mansfield was filled due to a race at mid ohio raceway. I had booked a king room, but after checking in, the room was actually only a single full sized bed.
The A/C was off and the room was warm and stale upon entering. The bed was low to the ground and the mattress felt saggy. The pillows smelled like dirty hair. I usually bring my own but forgot this time. The bathroom was very small and cramped, and the toilet felt loose when I sat on it.
The TV worked fine, and the water was hot in the shower. Once I got the room cooled off with the A/C, the temperature was comfortable.
I did have to make a run to WalMart to purchase Lysol spray, a solid room freshener, and a pillow. Once I had those items, the stay was not too bad.
The staff at the desk were nice and offered me coffee upon leaving.
I will probably stay again if business keeps me overnight in Mansfield, mostly because of the cheap rate. I paid $37... more
