From the dilapidated parking lot full of huge pot holes and weeds, to the peeling outdoor paint, things look AND are very bad at the Mansfield Inn, but we needed a place to stay for a few days during a bike show at Mid-Ohio. I was expecting more for $70 a night but was told I was lucky to even find a room during this bike show. The room was clean, but the bedding very sparse (one sheet & one polyester bedspread and totally flat pillows) and only 1 full size towel per person. The hotel faces a major highway so you either need to bring your ear plugs or be prepared to handle the loud traffic noise that does not stop at any hour of the day. There’s a low-end bar at the hotel so we had the misfortune of loud drunks walking by the room and a drunk chick fall face first into our window and bang at our door at 1 am. But the topping on the cake was arriving to our room at 9 pm after being gone since 7 am, to find the room had not been cleaned. Messy beds and damp towels lay on the... more
