Last April I was on my way from New Jersey to Louisville, so I arranged to stay on my way at the Friendship House B&B in New Concord, Ohio. This is a very small town, where I'd have grown up if my family had not moved 40 years ago. The b&b is literally the only place in town to stay, but the hosts were very accomodating, and provided information about the town's history and residents. In fact, they treated me just like family. I was so charmed that on my way back through, I stayed another night. more
